The 2008 AVN Awards Nominations

Yep, that time has come, the AVN Awards. We dread them, we love them, we strive for them, we curse at them and we swear every year not to care about them....but we do. Because no matter what line of work you are in it is nice to be noticed for a job well done.

I have been fortunate enough to be nominated for something every year I have been in the adult industry, and I thank those who have taken notice of some of my hard work. Last year we (Eli and I) we stunned to watch Corruption garner not only 17 AVN Nominations, but to go on to win 7 of them. This year Upload has brought us - and I mean all of us: the cast, the crew and SexZ Pictures - a thrilling 22 Nominations.

Below I also listed the ones I was nominated for outside Upload: Layout, Double Violation...and the categories that meant alot to me this year like Art Direction.

Kylie Ireland & Eli Cross to Visit Playboy Radio

Los Angeles, CA – AVN Hall of Fame star Kylie Ireland and award-winning director Eli Cross will be the guests on Playboy Radio’s “Adult DVD Review” tonight, November 26, at 9 p.m. PST. The pair will be joining host Adam Grayson to discuss their roles in the creation of the sci-fi epic “Upload” for SexZ Pictures.

Cross produced and directed the multiple-AVN nominated film. Ireland also produced, and received a Best Supporting Actress nomination for her performance as a 50s-era femme fatale.

Ireland is an adult industry legend and multiple award-winner who also heads her own company, SlutWerkz. Cross received several Best Director trophies from the likes of AVN, Adam Film World and NightMoves Magazine for his 2006 film “Corruption,” also for SexZ Pictures, which won Best Feature from the same bodies as well as XRCO.

Later this week, on November 28, “Upload” star Eva Angelina will appear on Playboy’s “NightCalls” to talk about her role in the biggest adult movie of 2007 with hosts Ginger Lynn and Christy Canyon. “NightCalls” airs from 4-7 p.m. PST.

Playboy airs on Sirius Satellite Radio channel 198.

When porn stars go freakin' mad...

True story:

When the production costs of 'Upload' soared and it became apparant that we were not going to get the movie done in time for the AVN Awards Nominations cutoff date, I knew that drastic measures needed to be taken to finish the movie.

With the help of a couple friends (who are apparantly as insane as I am) we finished the movie.

'Upload' Cast to Appear on Playboy Radio

November is “Upload “month on Playboy Radio

Los Angeles, CA - The cast and crew of SexZ Pictures’ blockbuster science-fiction epic “Upload” will be invading the studios of Playboy Radio throughout the month of November.

On Monday, November 12th, “Upload” star Derrick Pierce will share stories from the set with hosts Ginger Lynn and Christy Canyon on “Nightcalls.”

Next is an in-depth interview with Director Eli Cross and Producer/Performer Kylie Ireland on the “Adult DVD Review Show” with Adam Grayson on November 26th.
