Eli beat me to it.
So I woke up after about 12 hours of sleep on this fine Sunday morning before Thanksgiving intending to blog about my week in pornoland. I checked my 'blog subscription posts' on myspace to find that Eli Cross, aka Bryn Pryor, aka my boyfriend (god, I hate using that word but how else does one describe the guy they have lived with for almost 5 years but not married to? - and no that's not a hint at anything, I never want to get married again, it's too expensive...anyway, I got off on a tangent...) had already done a blog on it and covered most of what I was going to talk about. Geez, stole my thunder. But after all we do joke that really on many days, there is only one of us.

I will add this though...because of the girl who flaked on the shoot I got volunteered by the director to be in a second sex scene. So Thursday I was the first scene of the day, and the second. The first 2 days of this last week, Monday and Tuesday (and the previous Wednesday to be exact) I worked as talent for a company called Girlfriends Films. This is a company that makes lesbian movies. Movies for lesbians. Now after spending 3 days with them and shooting 2 sex scenes I have to say that the lesbians I know don't have sex like this nor do they watch porn like this. Now ladies, I know you know who you are so please sound off here and let me know your thoughts on this. Lesbian porn with no toys?) and they didn't even really want insertion of fingers. In fact very little hardcore was shot at all - about 2 minutes from my guess - and it was mostly in a long shot showing the entire picture, not a close up.
Now don't get me wrong here, I love women. I love doing all those things I mentioned above to women. And I was actually really looking forward to these scenes because it was such a departure from what I have been doing in porn lately. The head of Girlfriends' Films, who by the way had had no less than 4 talent no-shows that day, suggested that I could do my scene with Heather, a very sweet and beautiful girl from Florida who was there, that we could shoot something for a different series. Since I am a director I understand the big picture, I discussed it with them, and told them that since this was a scene that tied together the storyline and that I liked them and they were cool to me (and wanted to give me a regular roll in this porn soap-opera style series of movies) and since I was a team player I would wait.
I sat and had lovely conversation with Heather. In the mean time, the director spoke directly to the girl who was running late and was assured she would be there by 5:30. Well, no real surprise that 5:30 came and went. 6pm came and went. Heather and I decided we would shoot the scene together for the other series and at 6:25 when we were getting the first establishing shot started, the late girl called to say she was at the corner. I flat out told them no, at this point I didn't want to work with her. I was mad, I didn't want to pretend I was making love to this girl who had just inconvenienced me and the other talent and the crew for over 2 hours. Not to mention the location fees they were racking up on the house they were shooting in. No. This girl should have showed up on time, you don't reward bad behavior. Then she arrived at the door.
Heather and I are now waiting while the director talks to her. I peek over the banister of the second floor and she is trying to explain why she is late, he (yes, the director of this lesbian porn is a HE) sits down at the dining room table to talk with her. We have just started a scene, she is 2 and a half hours late and he is chatting with her like it is a casual conversation. I am getting more furious by the minute, I roll my eyes at Heather who is wide-eyed in disbelief. Then I heard the director say to the late girl downstairs, "I had better get upstairs, the other girl (meaning me) is getting very angry". I about exploded. Now he is apologizing to her because after she is 2 and a half hours late he has to go shoot a scene with me, the talent who has been patient and understanding. He has turned this into MY fault.
Heather's sweet look calmed me down and I casually said over the banister; "hey, can we shoot this scene now?" He started up the stairs. It's now 6:45, if Heather and I would have shot this scene at 4pm we would all be done by now.
