Kylie Parts Ways With DVSX
Los Angeles, CA – Citing creative and professional differences, Kylie Ireland announced that she will no longer be directing for DVSX. Ireland's non-exclusive agreement with the company saw the release of several titles in the ultra-hardcore vein the hall-of-fame director and performer has become known for, including Twisted as Fuck, a July 2006 AVN Editor's Choice which Ireland considers one of her best movies.
"I'm really proud of Twisted as Fuck," says Ireland. "I put my all into that movie and it really shows. A lot of people told me they thought it was the best thing DVSX had ever released."
Ireland is quick to confirm that there's no animosity between DVSX and herself, expressing the belief that she and the company are simply headed in different directions.
"I'm all about quality, pushing the envelope, and making the best product I possibly can," explains Ireland. "I love the guys who run DVSX, but with sales down, I think they're just focused on different priorities."
Ireland's last DVSX release will be nASSty dREAMs 2, an all-anal title slated for release later this year.
While Ireland will be exploring offers of additional gonzo work for other companies, her main focus at the moment is shooting two different lines for Bad Seed - an all-girl line and a big dick line - and shooting for her own company, SlutWerkz, which will be launching in the fall.

Adult Novelty Convention
Today I spent a couple hours hangin' out with Jacklyn Lick at the AVN Adult Novelty Convention. We were really supposed to be signing autographs but really it wasn't too crazy so we got a chance to hang out and catch up since it has been like 9 months since we last got together for sushi and a massage.
The Adult Novelty Expo is held every year at the Sheraton in Universal City - you know, up by Universal Studios and CityWalk - it's not a fan thing it is mosty just for retailers, stores and ditributors. It's great to be able to chat with people in those areas of the biz too.
Jacklyn and I have been friends since back in (I think) 1996 when we got thrown together for this bigevent in Houston. It was kind of a fiasco and we ended up taking control and trying to organize the whole week long event - that's a story on it's own really. Since then we have hung out from time to time, usually for sushi. Review: That Kylie Ireland really is Twisted as Fuck.
She may have had a more wholesome girl next door image when entering the industry a decade ago, but with 2004’s The Whore Next Door (Platinum X Pictures) and now this, she’s revealing a considerably more bent side. Kylie’s become a true blue — or is that black and blue? — perv and it shows throughout this uncommonly harsh (that’s meant as a compliment, btw), darkly distinctive, boundary-pushing, hard-edge-meets-real-deal BDSM vignette title.
The kidnapping-themed opener, a rough Taryn Thomas/Brian Surewood/Joe Friday/Jenner air-tightening, is solid stroke fodder, but the real kinkiness starts in scene two, entitled "Harsh Mistress," with nasty Nicki Hunter as the very convincing title character, topping Christian and Kylie in a dungeon, then having him fuck both their asses. What an awesome bitch.
The way over-the-top "Miss Diagnosis" is next, a medical scene which has Tory Lane at her most outlandish as Sandra Romain works her over with dils, medical clamps, nipple suction cups and other intimidating implements. Tory’s ear-bloodying screams, including the porn whore war cry — "Oh my fucking God" — are more horror film than XXX, but this is an outrageously intense spectacle that stays with you nonetheless. Not for the squeamish, for sure.
Scene four, the most stylish, set in a 1940ish hotel room, has Joel Lawrence slicing open a clear plastic body bag with a knife, freeing Trinity Post from inside, then naturally giving her ass a good, long reaming. Here my diary on the final 4 days on the set of Corruption. Sorry to keep you in suspense for so long....

Day 8. Monday, June 10th.
We are on the home stretch. The last 3 days of a 10, er...well, now 11 day, shoot. We arrive at 9am at a beautiful house in Encino in a secluded cul-de-sac where the 405 and the 101 freeways meet. A sprawling ranch house with marble floors and tons of space, this location, which we will be shooting at for the next 3 days, is to serve as Senator David Helms' compound. We are all pretty thrilled about these days since they are all at the same place which means no loading in and out of different locations. Cushy.
We have a good deal of dialogue, including quite a bit of mine, starting by the pool. Dolly track is laid and lighting goes up for some really nice shots of Helms, his assistant Perkins (Alana Evans) and Natasha (Hillary Scott), as the walk up to me (Carolyn, the Senator's wife) in the garden where I am having tea. The sun gets hotter as the hours pass and the gardener next door seems to be quite pleased with his leafblower. It is not unheard of at locations to have gardeners who will fire up their equipment when they see that the film crew is about to shoot, hoping that someone will come and bribe them to be quiet while the crew gets the shot.
