10/17/2006: "Rocky Mountain High"
I just returned from a week of being back in Colorado with family, which is always amusing. I love Colorado with all my heart but…well, we will just say I am glad to be home. Highlights included a 4x4 trip with my ex-husband, spending some time soaking in hot springs with my mom and some beautiful scenery.
Really it is amazing to me that there are places as beautiful as this.
Before I left, on October 5th, I went to see Roger Waters in concert - it was truly amazing. It was also my first concert at the Hollywood Bowl and it was a beauitful night for it. I have seen him now 3 times and every time is better than the last. It really is the closest to seeing Pink Floyd I will probably ever get in my lifetime. Roger puts on a hell of a show. Sure, I have seen David Gilmour's Pink Floyd but it just doesn't hold a candle to to Roger. To top it all off Nick Mason, the orginal drummer, joined him for the second half of the show. That was really cool, especially since I am in the middle of reading his book, Inside Out.
