Here my diary on the final 4 days on the set of Corruption. Sorry to keep you in suspense for so long....

Day 8. Monday, June 10th.
We are on the home stretch. The last 3 days of a 10, er...well, now 11 day, shoot. We arrive at 9am at a beautiful house in Encino in a secluded cul-de-sac where the 405 and the 101 freeways meet. A sprawling ranch house with marble floors and tons of space, this location, which we will be shooting at for the next 3 days, is to serve as Senator David Helms' compound. We are all pretty thrilled about these days since they are all at the same place which means no loading in and out of different locations. Cushy.
We have a good deal of dialogue, including quite a bit of mine, starting by the pool. Dolly track is laid and lighting goes up for some really nice shots of Helms, his assistant Perkins (Alana Evans) and Natasha (Hillary Scott), as the walk up to me (Carolyn, the Senator's wife) in the garden where I am having tea. The sun gets hotter as the hours pass and the gardener next door seems to be quite pleased with his leafblower. It is not unheard of at locations to have gardeners who will fire up their equipment when they see that the film crew is about to shoot, hoping that someone will come and bribe them to be quiet while the crew gets the shot.
