08/31/2005: "Premiere Party"
Yesterday I spent the afternoon over at Playboy Radio, today is their last day on XM Radio. They will be switching to a different Satellite company and continuing there. Rumor has it there is a bunch of new programing in the works so cross your fingers for me. Anyway, it was a fun show as always with Tiffany Granath, Christy Canyon, Ginger Lynn, myself and Gia Paloma. We girls got to gossiping and giggling and the entire show was ADD.
Tonight Eli and I will be attending the Redlight District (sister company to Platinum X) “premiere” of Darkside tonight. It is ridiculous really. They are having it in a bar in Beverly Hills, open bar and food, then we all sit and watch a porn movie from beginning to end. Weird huh? All these adults in one big room watching a porn movie together. I guess that shows you how desensitized we get. Eli was in the running to shoot this film (on actual film even) but lost out to James Avalon. James is a great director, don’t get me wrong, he does beautiful stuff, but what Redlight was looking for is a beautiful, great film with “Redlight District-style sex” - hardcore nasty gonzo sex. Eli could have done that, easily. But James Avalon? I don’t think so. They acually had a Redlight District gonzo director on the set to make sure they got the sex they wanted. Can you imagine being a porn director and having the company bring someone else in to direct the sex scenes? I am betting it will be gorgeous, but softer instead of nasty. I am curious to see if I am wrong. I hope so, for the sake of David (the owner) who put up the money for this.
