06/17/2005: "Big Loser"

So I am not an Ultimate Poker Babe. Well, okay, I am but I am not the winner. Nonetheless, it was fun. Typical of anything in Hollywood, I sat around for 2 1/2 hours before they finally threw me into makeup, then rushed me by saying they needed me in 15 minutes. Hey, not my fault, I had been there waiting, but nonetheless I HATE being rushed. Luckily the makeup artist rocked and I looked pretty damn good to start - it was a hundred degrees in the studio so we all melted pretty quickly.

I played fairly well, but I was sitting next to Jenna Haze who a) couldn't make a decision to save her soul, and b) didn't know how to "check", she always bet. Therefore, to stay in a couple times I had to bet too when I shouldn't have. Sigh.

The girls who played were Britney Sky, Stephany Swift, Tera Patrick, Alexis Amore, Jenna Haze and myself.



After the taping when we were all sweating, melted, tired and hungry, the photographer came chasing me to get my photo set they didn't have time to shoot before the show...I snuck out the back door. :)

Crickett (who went with me as moral support) and I headed out to Fred's 62 for dinner then strolled down to The Dresden Room so Crickett could experience Marty & Elaine. That brought a smile to our faces for sure. For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, if you are ever in LA you just have to go there for the experience. Trust me.
