03/18/2004: "Buster"

Today Private is shooting at my place again. Brian Shurwood, who I worked with last Saturday in the orgy scene brought along his newly adopted German Shepard, Rex, he recently adopted from the shelter. We are, of course, animal friendly and when he asked if he could tie up his dog on our back "patio" we had no problem. Brian did warn us though that his dog didn't like other dogs much.

(2 pm) Unfortunatly, Bryn forgot this when he let Buster out to pee and before anyone knew what was happening the German Shepard had Buster by the neck and was shaking him furiously. Bryn then grabbed the German Shepard and tried to pry his jaws open, resulting in poor little Buster, who was scared to death, to bite his hand.

(2:30) I was at my chiropractor appointment and I got the phone call after Bryn had dropped off Buster at the vet. They said he should be fine but that they were going to have to do some surgery to make sure the wounds were okay. Since Buster is 15 years old they were a little concerned about putting him under.

Bryn then went to the doctor himself to get fixed, no stitches but his hand was pretty torn up and is bandaged.

(6:00) Bryn just got home and we called the vet to see how Buster was. He is fine, the surgery went well and he is waking up. Groggy doggy. We can pick him up tomorrow morning.

Big sigh of relief.
