01/13/2004: "AEE/AVN wrap-up"

Written late Monday night/early Tuesday morning....

So we finally arrived home at about 5:30 am Sunday morning after deciding to skip the post AVN Awards show parties and get the hell out of Vegas. I slept pretty much entirely through Sunday, waking up finally at 9:30ish Monday morning. As you can tell, after 6 days in Las Vegas, I was clearly a bit disenchanted. Not from lack of fun, but simply from exhaustion. Plus Vegas really doesn't do much for me since I don't gamble and I don't drink... This was the first year I attended both Internext, the adult internet convention as well as AEE (formerly part of CES), the Adult Entertainment Expo. I was not signing for a company this time either, I was doing hourly live broadcasts for KSEX Radio located in the Adam & Eve booth. This most definitely made the show much more fun for me.

A big thank you to Adam & Eve for allowing KSEX and myself to cause much mayhem in their normally quiet booth. Thank you also to KSEX Radio for letting me be part of their twisted little family. Thanks to AVN and publisher Paul Fishbein for letting us do interviews (next to Playboy, HBO and Howard Stern) live on the red carpet before the awards.

There was so much going on it was hard to remember all the details, therefore below (Click where it says "more..." at the bottom of this box) are some bits and pieces from the reporters over at AdultFYI.com as they did coverage throughout the week. In a few days I will be posting photos and video clips from the entire event including on-air and red-carpet interviews.

Internext Jan 5-7

LAS VEGAS, NV - As day two wrapped at Internext, KSEX probably had their best "live mini-show" yet with big namers on the guest mics.

Tera Patrick & Evan Seinfeld stopped by and did a Live Interview with Wankus and Kylie Ireland at the KSEXradio.com PJ [Porn Jockey], booth within the Adam and Eve floor space. Evan bragged about his new layout in Penthouse Magazine in a piece titled, "Tattoo Boy," Tera spoke of how happy she is that this trade show has so many people she actually is acquainted with. "Usually it's just a bunch of cute, little hotties," she said, "but this year, Kylie is here, Jenna and so many other people I know."
Tera also expressed her excitement for her new affiliation with ClubJenna.com. "OfficialTeraPatrick.com is now going to be run by ClubJenna, possibly under a different name," she said. Evan and Tera will perform their show live from the fan base show AEE on Thursday afternoon [conveniently located directly across from the Digital Playground booth].

Following that interview, 2003 Penthouse Pet, Sunny Leone came to the mic and spoke of about being a spoke model for the soon to be launched AdamEveTv.com, a high definition, 8 channel, porn portal that will feature 24/7 sex shows, movies and KSEXradio shows. After claiming to love masturbation, Leone slipped her fingers down her skirt and twiddled a bit. She finished the action by sucking on the wet fingers in front of a hard-on-packed group of perverted webmasters.

Gen Padova was up next, pleased with the start of her first Internext experience. "I'm nominated for Best Girl-Girl for the AVN awards," Padova said to the cheering crowd.

Ron Jeremy closed it out, stepped over to what was suppose to be a quick hello and stayed for a lengthy, hysterical interview. While bragging about his Las Vegas Novelty-made penis that is available, Wankus asked, "does that come with a hairy back?"

Ireland claimed to have tried Ron's "fake" penis and enjoyed it very much.

Jeremy announced that he can be seen in this month's People magazine and pumped up the release of the new film, "Being Ron Jeremy."


AEE – Adult Entertainment Expo; Jan 8-11

Thursday:
12 noon

Las Vegas- KSEX's Kylie Ireland and Wankus were doing spot interviews from the Adam & Eve booth at AEE Thursday afternoon. They talked to Rachel Rotten and Terri Summers. Ireland said Rotten does scorching scenes, albeit with her tattooed boyfriend. Rotten has some upcoming movies for VCA including Cafe Flesh 3 and the Osporns 2. "A classic," said Ireland, noting that director Antonio Passolini was really fun to work with in her experience. Ireland also mentioned that Rotten's boyfriend has a tattoo on his dick. She wanted to know what it said. "I see it going in and out of you but I can't read it." The tattoo, according to Rotten reads "Poison" but not like in the rock band. Wankus wanted to know if there's different messages when her man gets an erection. Ireland said another hot scene comes from a movie called Convulsion...er,...Compulsion. Rachel says she only works with her boyfriend as far as boy-girl scenes go, but has worked with the likes of Jenna Jameson.

Wankus said he was keeping a boxscore of how many times people were getting laid versus the number of times he was, which was zero. Las Vegas- In a follow-up KSEX mini-show segment Thursday afternoon featuring live interviews from the Adam & Eve booth on the AEE convention floor, Kylie Ireland and Jason Sechrest talked to Stephanie Swift and Maxx Diesel. Sechrest noted that Adam & Eve was up for 29 awards this year including Rawhide which is up for best movie. Swift said she, however, wasn't up for any awards this year, that this was her first year without any nominations. Swift said her big thing this year was to see how many girls she could molest.

Swift was asked if she was ever attracted to any of the guys who come up to the Wicked Booth for her autograph. "Sometimes- but I'm not supposed to say that," said Swift. "You didn't hear me." Sechrest observed as only Sechrest could observe that the place was filled with testosterone. "Don't you just, like, get wet just sitting there during the day?" Swift said she was dripping as she spoke.
Sechrest then grabbed the 6'5" gay male porn star Maxx Diesel from Falcon Studios. Sechrest said he's jacked off to him about a million times. Ireland was about ready to jack off, too, judging by her comments about his voice. "Just talk to me. That's all it would take- from that voice alone," she said. In a follow-up segment Wankus and Katie Morgan took to the mikes. Kiki D'Aire was their guest and Wankus hinted that Kiki might become a KSEX p-jay in the near future. In the 6pm slot, Kylie Ireland and Jason Sechrest were back with more interviews. Sechrest grabbed gay porn star Kismet who was signing at the militaryguy.com booth. Kismet said a separate room was set up so that anyone who wanted to see the convention live, could log on. "We're getting crazy, grabbing nipples, showing pubes and having a lot of fun."

Sechrest then brought on spell caster Monica Mayhem. "Your breasts are fucking huge- they're amazing," Sechrest observed. Mayhem said she was signing for them and had a 12 picture non-exclusive with them. "The first one is Monica's Sex Crimes." Kennedy was the next guest and she said she was signing for no one, just cruising the aisles. Kennedy however noted that her movie My Baby Got Back 30 from Video team was up for an award. Johnny Buss then came on the mike. Buss said it was his third year at the convention. Asked if he got tons of pussy everywhere he went, Buss said, "I like pussy, I have to admit, but tons of it?" Las Vegas- Kylie Ireland got to meet another performer from the gay community that she could positively drool over. Ireland and Jason Sechrest were handling the 3 pm KSEX minishow revue from the Adam & Eve booth at the AEE convention when Rob Romani [pictured right with Tod Parker] stopped by. Romani and Ireland knew one another from a project that they worked on together called Canvas for Jet Black.

Ireland said she had a non-sex role and played a wife who gets killed. Ireland said she accepted the role because she's never been on a gay set before. "I was curious before I had never been there before." Ireland was on the set the day they did dialogue-only, according to her. "I didn't think they wanted to offend me or something." Ireland hasn't watched the movie yet but heard it was very, very good. Romani said it's gotten great reviews. For his part, Romani was at the convention to promote Reload for Colt Studios. Romani's featured in a five-way pool scene. "Great location and great director, John Rutherford," he noted. Romani said Tod Parker was also signing at the Colt booth. "He's on the cover of Reload."

But first up on the hour was JKP girl Ashton Moore. Sechrest commented on Moore's innocence but Ireland thought there was nothing innocent about Moore's titties. Moore said JKP was having a party Friday night at the Club Venus in the Ventian Hotel that would be going from 9pm to 4am. Moore was also scheduled to sign at the www.militaryguy.com . "She's going to be getting naked and naughty with the guys," Sechrest predicted.

Sechrest then asked Ireland out of the blue if she were predominantly lesbian in her private life. Ireland said she prefers dick, doesn't date women but likes to "tumble around" now and then. Sechrest was curious about details of Ireland's relationship with Chloe. "Chloe and I had some times where we got in some threeways and stuff," Ireland said. "But Chloe's not really into chicks. A newbie named Dixie Cupps was also brought on to the mike. Sechrest asked what on earth would possess her to take that name. An interview that, unfortunately got hiccuped off the air featured Amber Lynn and brother Buck Adams. Sechrest, the self-acclaimed maven of gossip, was surprised to learn that Lynn and Adams were related. "They're brother and sister!!?? I had no idea!" exclaimed Sechrest. Ireland said she heard great stories about them doing photo shoots together. "Not like nude ones- where they would put things between them so they weren't actually touching." Lynn quickly dispelled that story by saying it never happened. "We're family." Lynn got in the industry first and was about to tell the story how Buck came to her rescue and ran into John Holmes in a garage when the Internet belch occurred knocking KSEX off the air.

4:20 pm

Las Vegas- Tonight, porn scribe Scott Fayner and porn actress Taylor Rain will discover which is better- living in or out of sin in Sin City. A wedding had been promised, and in one of those Vegas long shots, the team of Fayner and Rain actually showed up, although late for their own nuptials which were scheduled to go off at the Adam & Eve booth at 4:20 pm Saturday afternoon. The couple arrived about 15 minutes later, and the 10-minute event was broadcast on KSEXradio.com from the AEE convention floor.

Harry Weiss gave away the bride and made a speech to the effect that he hoped his "daughter" would have the best pot in the years to come. The bridal party was all decked out in custom Van Halen shirts inscribed with the date of the event, whereas the bride and groom had their own authentic Van Halen shirts. The "reverend" D.J. Foothill, a purported pastor of what denomination we're not specifically sure, flew in for the event but almost didn't make it. At the end of the ceremony the couple broke the traditional Jewish glass and Taylor said she was going to switch to Judaism although her current religion is whatever that works.

Wankus and Kylie Ireland hosted the event before a sizable and cheering crowd.
